A peak in UGHE

 University of Global Health Equity(UGHE), is a new  university in Rwanda created to advance global health delivery by training a new generation of global health leaders  who are equipped in not just building, but sustaining effective and equitable health systems.

At UGHE students gain more skills and are able to do practicals because of different facilities provided by the university. Among those facility, there is the simulation center where there is a mannequin called Mutoni which the students use for studying different procedures.

The most interesting thing about Mutoni is that she can even give birth and she already has a child in the simulation center. The simulation center is of great help to students as they are able to understand more about what they study through those various practices. 

Not only do students at UGHE focus on their studies but they also interact and have different fun activities such as karaoke nights and BBQ.

As much as students study hard and are doing hard work in different parts of the country through the medical rotations they go do, they still spare time to build connections among them, have fun and rest for the betterment of their health as well.

AUCA’ s remarkable achievement

The Adventist University of Central Africa (AUCA) has recently made headlines with their participation in the Commonwealth Universities' Debating Championship (#CUDC2024).  The AUCA debaters were well-prepared for this prestigious event, using it as a platform to showcase their understanding of what a better world should look like. This tournament allowed them to debate and shape ideas for a brighter future together. As the championship unfolded, AUCA debaters continued to display their remarkable skills, highlighting their dominance in the competition. Debate, being one of the key extracurricular activities at AUCA, played a crucial role in enhancing students' public speaking and critical thinking abilities. In a grand conclusion to the event, AUCA was crowned the best university in Rwanda. The entire university community praised God for this achievement, celebrating yet another shining moment in AUCA's history.

Inside the math club

  Mathematics and Statistics Students’ Association of Rwanda (MSAR) is an association for  students studying mathematics and statistics at the UR-CST. This association was created by the students themselves with a purpose of   creating a supportive environment to help them excel in their academic studies and prepare their careers as mathematicians and statisticians.    This association meets every Tuesday evening, to share and learn both soft and hard skills including programming languages such as Python, R needed by mathematicians. They also do some MSAR QUIZZES and MSAR fun games as a way of relaxing and boosting friendship among them.       MSAR members also go for some study visits in different institutions to learn from their elders  how they apply mathematics and statistics in those institutions. “ We believe that mathematics and statistics are the keys to the door of understanding the world”, Peace Ishimwe the president of MSAR said....
