New club in UR-CST

 Rotary club at the University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology.

On Friday, 22nd March different leaders from Rotary international attended a two days event that introduced a new club at UR-CST, the Rotary club.

Rotary international, is one of the largest service organizations in the world! Rotary clubs aims at bring together people across generations who wish to create lasting change in the world, in their communities, and in themselves.

The ceremony that introduced a Rotary club at UR-CST included many activities such as panel discussions and launching of new clubs from UR-CST, UTB, Gisenyi, and some high schools such as Kigali Christian School Known as KCS,and Gashora Girls' Academy.

Students members of the club were awarded certificates and every participant was also awarded a certificate

On 23rd March, the second day of the event General Rwivanga had a panel session regarding employment and job creation for youth and many students at the University learned a lot from it.



Many students agree that Rotary club is a good initiative for giving back to the community and being successful in what they put focus on.

“It’s not about what you have,  but just a heart and passion to achieve success” Esther Mahoro one of the students at CST who attended the event said.
