Riding into campus life
Bicycles at RICA Campus!
It's been two weeks since the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA) introduced bicycles to the campus, and the impact has been remarkable.
These bicycles, available for all students, have quickly become a vital part of daily life, transforming the way students navigate their academic and field activities.
The initiative, aimed at promoting sustainable transportation and enhancing student convenience, received an overwhelmingly positive response. Students are seen cycling across the campus, their journeys to classes and fields made swifter and more enjoyable.
"Having a bicycle has made my mornings so much easier," says Alice, a second-year student. "I no longer have to rush or worry about being late for my early classes. Plus, it's a great way to start the day with some exercise."
