The African Leadership University (ALU) Rwanda has once again rolled out the red carpet for its graduation ceremony. Carnegie Mellon University Africa’s 11th Graduation May 12th 2024 Marked the 11th graduation ceremony of Carnegie Mellon University Africa’s cohort. Eighth graduation at University of Kigali The 31st of May 2024 has been a thrilling day for the students of University of Kigali as they were preparing for their eighth graduation ceremony and this was even more exciting for the graduates who were going to hold different degrees. This ceremony took place at Intare conference arena whereby over 1428 students graduated. The graduates got honors for their Bachelor's and master's. The majority of graduates were in the School of Business and Economics in the Kigali and Musanze campuses, respectively . On 1st June 2024 MEDSAR association, an association for all medical students in Rwanda had a scientific day with a topic of "end teenage pregnancy”and exploring the gap in adolescents sexual reproductive health and rights. It was attended by medical students from university of Rwanda, ASOME, and UGHE. Also there was medical Doctors, ministry of health and distinct non governmental organisations. Bicycles at RICA Campus! It's been two weeks since the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA) introduced bicycles to the campus, and the impact has been remarkable. These bicycles, available for all students, have quickly become a vital part of daily life, transforming the way students navigate their academic and field activities. The initiative, aimed at promoting sustainable transportation and enhancing student convenience, received an overwhelmingly positive response. Students are seen cycling across the campus, their journeys to classes and fields made swifter and more enjoyable.
